Purple Door Productions was incorporated in January of 2008. The event management, marketing and consulting company holds the contract to produce all the events of Madison Festivals Inc. (MFI). This includes Taste of Madison, Madison Marathon and Kids Expo. They are also available to work on non-MFI events like Jerry's Race, New Glarus Community Fest and private parties.

Purple Door is comprised of Keith Peterson (Event Manager), Jody Stolldorf (Event Coordinator), Christine Belle (Business & Sponsorship Development) and Scott Jackson Smith (Event Promotions). From establishing event budgets to sponsorship and vendor sales to volunteer coordination, event marketing and all the minutiae in between, the staff at Purple Door Productions is involved with every facet of the events they manage.
