Jody Stolldorf -Events Coordinator

Jody Stolldorf has proven time and time again that she has the ability to maintain composure and confidence under the pressure of coordinating some of Madison’s biggest and most popular community events. A graduate of UW-Eau Claire, Jody has the daunting task of taking care of all the minutiae that comes with event planning and management. From expo layouts to volunteer coordination to ordering port-a-potties, Jody makes it all appear absolutely effortless. Her work is the stuff that people don’t necessarily notice about the events because everything is so seamless. She is a consummate expert in organization, management, and follow-through. You can relay on Jody to:

• Review, analyze and maintaining your event budget.
• Recruit, manage, train and communicate with the volunteers necessary for your event. This includes coordinating meetings, training volunteer coordinators, working with major charities and providing job descriptions for each position.
• Assist with the inventory for the various supplies owned by the festivals. She also coordinates purchasing and/or leasing the products.
• Lend supplementary support with your board member meetings and any necessary sub-committee meetings. This includes writing and posting minutes after each meeting.
• Attend and oversee the events onsite.
• Prepare bid proposals and secure various vendors for each event.
• Put in order communications to event participants, including e-mails, registration materials, event guides/programs and Web postings.
• Coordinate participant registration in each event.
• Complete and submit required permits for each event and follow up on each permit with the appropriate city/county/state officials.
• Aid in the preparation of post-event reports, including recommendations for future events.
  Recruit and lead interns as they learn event production as it relates to your event(s).
